Cookies
User authentication and login functionality is provided by Google.
If you visit our Calendity application login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in with Google, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

How long we retain your data

Within the Calendity application, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
You can disable sharing of your information from Google to Calendity by managing third-party access to your Google account at: https://myaccount.google.com/connections
Users have the right to:

Where your data is sent
Your user data is sent to Google for the purpose of synchronizing calendar data.
Calendity does not share user data with any third-party services, except as necessary to interact with Google APIs and provide the core functionality of the application.

Data Access
Calendity requests access to specific user data through Google OAuth 2.0 to provide its services effectively. The application accesses the following data:
- User Information:
- Name
- Email address
- Time zone
- Google Calendar Data:
- Permissions to create and manage public calendars (Calendar ACLs).
- A token issued by Google to access and manage the public calendar.
Calendity only accesses this information after explicit consent is granted by the user through Google’s OAuth process.
Data Use
Calendity uses the data accessed solely for the following purposes:
- User Information:
- To personalize your experience within the platform (e.g., displaying your name and time zone preferences).
- To send necessary service-related notifications and updates.
- Google Calendar Data:
- To create and manage a new public Google Calendar on behalf of the user.
- To synchronize and publish events to the public calendar.
- To maintain seamless integration between Calendity and Google Calendar services.
Calendity does not use any user data for advertising, marketing, or resale purposes.
